Household Hazardous Waste

Some materials require special handling for safe disposal and should not be placed in the trash.  Household hazardous waste include items such as paints, pesticides, household cleaners, automobile fluids and old medicine.  Residents of SOCRRA communities and our customers, Bingham Farms and the City of Bloomfield Hills can bring these items to SOCRRA for safe disposal free of charge by scheduling a drop off appointment.  Residents from the City of Rochester may use this service, but must first purchase a voucher from their city office.  Verification of residency in one of these communities is required.
