Household Hazardous Waste & Electronics

There are some materials that require special handling for safe disposal and should not be placed in the trash.  Residents of SOCRRA may safely dispose of materials such as paints, pesticides, cleaners, old medicines, and other hazardous materials through the Household Hazardous Waste Collection program.  This program operates 6 days per week by appointment only. 

Another item that requires special handling for recycling is electronics.  Old computers, televisions, and other items are also accepted by appointment only for SOCRRA residents.
