All facilities are closed New Year's
Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas
Day.

7 a.m. to 6 p.m. M-F; 7 a.m. to 2:00 Sat
Trash - $60/ton; $35 (minimum charge)
Yard Waste - $54/ton; $35 (minimum charge)
Payment by cash or check only (must have valid Michigan
driver's license)
Scrap metal can be dropped off for
free.
Appliances accepted for free as long as "Freon has been removed sticker" is on
item.
Fee for
Freon Removal - $20
Residents of SOCRRA's member municipalities can bring in Christmas trees, bags of leaves (or
brush bundles)
over winter months only, for
composting, at no charge.
(Check back in December 2009 for winter
disposal.)

No charge for drop-off of recyclables.
Items that can be placed in your curbside bin can also be brought to the Drop-off
Center,
as well as the following items that cannot be
placed in the curbside bin
(hardcover books, large batteries (boat, car, golf cart, etc.),
plastic bags (clean, dry, no handles), CDs, DVDs, cassette & VHS tapes).
No charge for drop-off of clothes, shoes, toys and blankets (in blue "IICD"
bins)
Free paper shredding available

Hours - Generally staffed 8-4 Mon-Fri
Screened & cured garden compost humus is available to purchase
for a loading fee of $3/cubic yard (minimum charge $15)
