Healthy Lawn & Garden Education Program
Co-Sponsored by SOCRRA & SOCWA
The Healthy Lawn and Garden Program is a public information and education
program directed to residents within SOCRRA and SOCWA communities. Program
activities, funded through government agency and private foundation grants,
focus on practical ways for reducing waste, protecting water quality, and
growing healthy lawns and gardens. Technical advisors include: Oakland
County MSU Extension, Wayne County MSU Extension and the Metropolitan Detroit
Landscape Association. Activities are carried out in cooperation with
community volunteers.
