FREE Residential Food Waste Drop-Off Programs are now available in SOCRRA communities! Food waste collected will be transported to a local commercial composting facility and made into compost.

Unlike backyard composting, all food waste is accepted-  including meat, bones, dairy, spoiled or moldy food, and plate scrapings.  Those interested in utilizing this service must review their city’s list of acceptable items to help ensure the success of the program.  When in doubt, keep it out!
